What pets do you care for?

We care for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small caged animals (birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.)


Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, we are insured and bonded and present copies of our certificates at our "meet and greets".


Can we meet before I make my reservation?

Yes, we will schedule a "meet and greet" so we can meet you and your pet(s), and you can tell us exactly how you will like your pet(s) cared for in your absence.


How will my key be handled?

We will request two copies of your key at the time you make your reservation at our "meet and greet".  One key will be in the possesion of the pet sitter while that sitter is caring for your pet(s), and the second key will be kept in a locked safe.  This system allows us to have a back-up key should anything prevent your scheduled sitter from making a visit.  Having a back-up key and a back-up sitter ensures that your pet will receive each and every scheduled visit.  We ask that you consider keeping that locked key on file with us for future sitting reservations.  There will be a $10.00 charge added to your bill should we be requested to make a key return visit.


What forms of payment do you accept and when is payment due?

Cash and personal checks are accepted.  We ask that the full amount of the services reserved be left for us at the time of our first visit.  You will receive an e-mail confirming the details of your reservation and with the costs for the services ordered prior to the start of our service.


What if I return later than expected?

 

The safety of your pets is our primary concern.  We do everything in our abilities to ensure their safety.  We believe that your pets need to be visited the number of times agreed upon during a day.

While we certainly anticipate that you will be arriving home on the date you provide to us, we understand that there will occasionally be circumstances beyond your control that will prevent you from returning on the indicated date.  If this happens, please call us and we will absolutely extend past the predetermined visits to care for your pets.  Please note that there will be a charge for the visit should we find you home without having heard from you or find your pet(s) in another's care.

We ask that you call us when you arrive home.  We will also leave a small note card reminding you to call.  This covers an unforeseen event in which you do not arrive home and cannot notify us of this situation.
